Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to your community.

SASSA will probably be rendering providers such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency stated it can be alarmed about the significant quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the superior number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office focused on service the area each day. The support point created for intervention ordeals a significant influx of likely beneficiaries, which makes it challenging to the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more sources to allow the servicing of all customers and enhance access to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
